I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I love a hill.
I love the journey up.
I love the feeling of achievement when you reach the top.
I love taking time to just sit and take in the view.
This time, the hill we decided to explore was Beacon Hill, rising up above the town of Great Malvern.
Looming up behind the town, it’s an impressive hump in the middle of an otherwise fairly flat landscape.
So having bundled ourselves into the car we set off for an adventure.
An hour and a half later we arrived in the loveliest town, filled our tummies in a friendly café, and set off up the intimidating slopes of the hill.
It was quite something when we reached the top.
Like toy town laid out before us.
Worth every minute of the journey to get there.
When can we go again?
